OMS Yearbook time is here: The 2025-2026 yearbooks are now on sale for Oskaloosa Middle School! You can order your student's copy at the link below: https://jostensyearbooks.com/?REF=A02446730
Yearbooks are $15 each. Don't wait to order. The final to guarantee a copy is February 27th. We will order extra to purchase with cash at the end of the year, but when those are gone, we are not able to order more.
Girls Track apparel is now available: Spring is near! If you need some new track and field swag here’s your chance!! Orders due by February 25.
The OHS baseball team is sharing their store with you, if you’d like to get gear or fan apparel in support of their team. Flyers with pics and a qr code are posted on the office bulletin board. Shop now, using this link:

OMS After School Clubs information:
Monday: Track Club 3:30 - 4:30
Tuesday: Cooking Club 3:30 - 4:30
Wednesday from 2:30 - 3:30: Julia and Walker Newman will continue to offer their OMS FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) club - in the gym.
Thursday: Style Club with Mrs. Edwards and Mrs. Stewart will lead this club on Feb 19 and 26.
Commons vending machines: new information that has been shared with us is that our vending machines have to be in the OFF position ½ hour before and ½ hour after school begins and ends. This means BOTH machines will NOT be working between 7:30 AM and 4pm daily. Plan accordingly with your morning and after school snacks!
Check out the district’s APP and website and look for the VIRTUAL BACKPACK! It’s filled with camp information for all ages, all year long and is a great resource for our district families 24/7.
Cell phone policy: Hey Oskaloosa Middle School students, This year, the Iowa Legislature passed a new law (HF 782) that changes how personal devices can be used during the school day at every school in the state of Iowa.Here’s the bottom line:
No personal devices (phones, smartwatches, earbuds) during class time, passing time, or lunch.
You CAN use your Chromebook for schoolwork.
If a device is seen or heard, it will be taken to the office.
Put devices away, turned off, in locker during the school day.
