OMS Clubs are BACK! Clubs will typically run Monday–Thursday from 3:30–4:30 PM, and all clubs will meet in the Media Center. Some clubs will be the same clubs you may have seen last year, and we’ll also have some brand-new clubs this year! You’ll see club posters posted in the Commons with information about what club is happening each day, so make sure you’re watching for those.

From our Tech Department: Please do NOT put stickers on the chromebooks. These are brand new chromebooks. These are brand new chromebooks, let’s take good care of them, keep them clean and do not write or scratch on them and do not pick at the keys, etc. Also do not remove the barcode stickers or your name labels. Thank you for keeping our equipment in great shape!
Jostens Picture Day information: Ordering can be done online with Josten’s by either going to their website or calling 1-877-515-1447. You’ll need the event code information: FE206826 plus you’ll also need your student(s) specific ID number.
Reminder: Commons vending machines: new information that has been shared with us is that our vending machines have to be in the OFF position ½ hour before and ½ hour after school begins and ends. This means BOTH machines will NOT be working between 7:30 AM and 4pm daily. Plan accordingly with your morning and after school snacks!
Reminder about the Iowa State Law pertaining to cell phones:
No personal devices (phones, smartwatches, earbuds) during class time, passing time, or lunch.
You CAN use your Chromebook for schoolwork.
If a device is seen or heard, it will be taken to the office.
Put devices away, turned off, in locker during the school day.

Lunch: check the website under the DINING tab, for daily menus, plus there’s always pizza, Grill items, taco Bar, and On The Go foods with fresh fruits, vegetables and milk each day!

Oct 1 - Mid Term for 1st trimester
Oct 5 and 8 - Parent Teacher Conferences! Monday the 5th, OMS will have conferences from 4-7:30 PM and Thursday the 8th OMS will dismiss school at 12:30 for students and host conferences from 1:30 - 7:30 PM. *There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday the 9th and also NO SCHOOL (teacher PD day) on Monday the 12th.
