
The Oskaloosa High School and Middle School invites you to the 2nd Trimester Choir Concert on February 20! There will be over 100 students participating in the concert at 7pm in the George Daily Auditorium.
Admission is FREE, but there will be a chance for you to show support with a free will donation. Your generosity, big or small, helps us continue to provide exceptional music education experiences for our students.
Our students have dedicated many hours to preparing for this concert, and we can't wait to share their hard work and talent with you. See you there!


The Oskaloosa Schools has named Sarah McGriff as the district’s new director of finance, effective February 26.
McGriff brings a wealth of experience and a strong educational background to her new role. Most recently serving as an accountant for the City of Ottumwa, she also held the position of business manager/board secretary at the North Mahaska CSD from 2020 to 2023.
“I am thrilled to be joining the team at Oskaloosa Schools,” McGriff said. “The district has a wonderful story to tell of their dedication to student success and wellbeing, and I look forward to being a part of that from within the business office.”

The OHS baseball team is proud to announce their upcoming opportunity to showcase their talent at Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinals. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, dubbed "Swing for the Arch," is scheduled to take place on June 8, 2024.
The entire Oskaloosa community is invited to come out and support the Indians. Fans can expect an exhilarating day of baseball, highlighted by the opportunity to witness the next generation of stars compete at Busch Stadium.
Tickets will be available in the next few weeks and will be $35 each, which includes entry to the MLB game and the high school game.

Lockdown drills are a crucial part of our safety routine as Oskaloosa CSD, and we're proud to see continuous improvement! Last week, 11 OES classrooms were successfully cleared, with all students and staff meeting lockdown expectations.
A special thanks to the Mahaska County Sheriff's Office, Oskaloosa Police Department, and Mahaska County Emergency Management for their cooperation in ensuring a safe learning environment at Osky.

Oskaloosa Student Council will be holding their annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser Friday night, starting at 5:45 in the small gym of the high school. This dinner will last until after halftime of the boys basketball game.
This dinner is FREE WILL donation, and the proceeds will help the student council raise money for projects, events, camps, and conferences. Support the student council and enjoy some spaghetti, meatballs, garlic bread, lemonade, and water! We hope to see you there!

Mime earned a Division 2 rating with a lot of positive comments about their really cool mimed boat. This was a student-directed group by Conner VanDerWal with Morgan Drost, Ally Campbell, Amelia Bowen, Madi Chamberlin, and Arianah Edwards, titled “Drifted Apart.”
