OHS Student Council hit the highway to make a difference in the community. Student Council members cleaned up a stretch of Highway 23, showing our commitment to keeping Oskaloosa beautiful and litter-free! 🌍💪
87 OHS Student Council members attended the State Leadership Conference, hosted by Iowa Association of Student Councils (IASC), with over 1,450 other student council members and advisors from around the state!
The event took place at Johnston High School on Sunday, October 29 and Monday, October 30. Students made many new friends and listened to some great speakers while learning more about leadership.

Students from Mr. Kargol's Entrepreneurship in the Arts class had a blast this week! They teamed up to paint the windows at the @Stephen Memorial Animal Shelter for Halloween. 🎃👻
Between their painting sessions, our students couldn't resist petting the adorable kittens! This project gave our students the perfect chance to unwind, recharge, and refocus while enjoying the art-making process in a laid-back and stress-free environment. 🎨❤️

🎓📚 On September 25, Oskaloosa High School juniors attended the IACAC (@Iowa Association for College Admission Counseling) College Fair held at Central College in Pella.
Our students had the incredible opportunity to connect with representatives from various colleges across Iowa and neighboring states! One college rep stated, "I am so impressed with Oskaloosa students. They have great eye contact and are asking very important questions.”
Our juniors left the fair with a wealth of valuable information to help them plan their post-secondary journeys. Way to go, OHS juniors! 🎉
